The PCS SkyFire II notebook is now available to configure with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 675M Graphics card. Not only that, but the price of the SkyFire II is more competitive than the Vortex III model giving your more power for less! :D

You can configure yours here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/skyFireII/

Yes the pricing will be similar, perhaps around £10 different.

This is a very reasonable pricing policy, seeing as the 675MX Kepler replaces the old 675M Fermi. : ) A good general midrange alternative to the GTX 660M/7970M I reckon.

May I ask why the Radeon HD 7970M is not available on the SkyFire II?

Also, why is the pricing of this GPU so high? On other websites the general trend seems to be that it is the same price as the GTX 675M.

We don't stock the 7970M on this chassis because it is not available. The 7970M costs more than the 675M and we sell the 675M at a much lower price.

Sorry, I was comparing the prices between the Vortex III and SkyFire II - my mistake!

Why is it that the price difference between the GTX 675M and GTX 670M is much smaller on the SkyFire II laptops than it is on the Vortex III?
