Hey there, I would like to know if intel smart response is possible with this laptop? I know it uses the HM77 chipset, and according to the intel website that supports smart caching, but can anyone with that laptop tell me if its possible? I know that a lot of laptop manufacturers have terrible BIOS, and was wondering if anyone else had done this?
I was thinking of buying a cheap SSD and putting it into the second hard drive bay in this laptop, and using it as a cache for the standard 500GB drive you can get with the laptop (the 5400RPM one). Would this be possible? Does anyone think this would be a good idea? and can anyone give me any recommendations of which SSD to buy?
