So when do you get e-mailed about your order status?

Is it each time the order status changes, or is it only at certain times? Just a curious person who ordered today, hope this is the right subforum

I didn't get too many emails from PCS during my build tbh. You should be emailed when your rig changes 'status' (ie goes from building to testing etc.) but sometimes depending on how fast it is this may not happen. You can always log into your account (on the main site not the forums) and check on the status of your build there . Try not to hit the refresh button too hard haha.

Not sure you do get an e-mail,you can check progress in your "Customer Login" on the home page.

Well I got a couple of mails through the order process:
First one: Thank you for your order (number: xxxx) and welcome to www.pcspecialist.co.uk
Second one: Your order has now been built and is awaiting testing and configuration.
Third one: Your order has now entered the testing and configuration process
Fourth one: This email is to confirm that your order (number xxxxx) is now awaiting dispatch.
Fifth one was some important info about my PC
Sixth one was: Your order (number xxxxx) has been dispatched with DPD. Your consignment number is xxxxxxxxx
And the last two were from DPD confiming the date and hour slot of delivery.

Since I had the super speedy fast-track the e-mails came quickly

Haha yeah, I realized it is futile refreshing today since it is a weekend and the payment will take til Tuesday to process, given the bank holiday

I am going to have to learn patience Alas it will be worth it to be able to play modern games at 1440x900 (max for my screen) with max settings

I got one that apologised that it was taking a while, then one when it changed status to "In Building", "In Testing", "In QC" and then when it was dispatched I got one telling me it was on the way and one with a few recommendations (like making sure you plug monitors into the GPU). I then got a few from DPD to let me know when it was due for delivery

I ordered on the 16th and got one apologising for the delay (still in pre production) and one when I first ordered. I'm assuming I'll get ones as it progresses. Will keep you informed.

Well I've done it. I am autistic and get anxious if things take longer than planned, so if it took over 8-10 working days I would have gotten really, really anxious and worried.
