Some Advice Please (Laptop Gaming)

Ok, so I'm torn between these two laptops and want your opinion on both them them. I'd very much like these to be able to play games on a minimum medium settings and obviously higher if possible for the likes of skyrim and any future game so I need your advice if that's possible.

Also which would be better 8gbram, a single 8gb stick or 2x4gb? Would the 8 be identical in performance and this future proof if I were to add more ram in the future? And out of the ones PCSpec provide, are the samsungs ones better than the kingston?

Would an i5 be better than the i7-3630QM? (one of the i5-3380 or i5-3540)

1 15.6" Enigma IV
  • i7-3630QM
  • 8gb ram (same question as above 1x8 or 2x4?)
  • gefore gt650
  • 250gb HDD (I have a 7200rpm 500gb spare from my old laptop) Also any advice on this would be great
  • 2nd HDD None (will this just be a blank hole where I could put in my old HDD mentioned above?)
  • srs 2 channel (is this an ok sound card as I want to keep price to a minimum)

2 The 15.6" Optimus IV
  • i7-3630QM
  • 8gb ram (same question as above 1x8 or 2x4?)
  • GeForce gtx 660 (is this a much better graphics card?)
  • 250gb HDD (I have a 7200rpm 500gb spare from my old laptop) Also any advice on this would be great
  • 2nd HDD None (will this just be a blank hole where I could put in my old HDD mentioned above?)
  • intel channel 2 (is this an ok sound card as I want to keep price to a minimum)
Basically I'll have the two laptops Identical apart from the graphics to which ever I choose, it's just the graphics card I'm unsure to get so will an extra £95 be worth it for the graphics card? and the other questions I mentioned at the top.

Any advice on the points I've made will be greatly appreciated

On the Enigma there is no room for a second HDD you would need to remove the DVD player but there is room for a second HDD on the Optimus. Sorry cant help on the other questions.

Optimus V with a better gpu

depending on how much you want to spend? optimus v is a better choice as it has a better graphics card so it will help with future games...a better choice if you can afford it would be the 15.6" Vortex IV LE with the gtx 770m.. you can play most games on high settings with that card and has 4th gen cpu

Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm reluctant to pay over £700 to be honest but it looks like I'll have to for a top laptop. But the price for the Vortex IV LE is far too much. (I'm not having an OS so that's an £80 saving already!).
The 15.6" Optimus V may be a possibility getting that down to around £750 but what do people think of the
14" SkyFire III, this can be bought for ~£700 which is much better.

If so is there a big difference between the GTX 760M and the GTX 765M?

Also how would you find a 14"? Something I've never had and unsure whether to even consider it :/
