Sparking noises from the charging adapter

Hiya..

Im concerned about the sparking noises im hearing from my Charging adapter...
These noises are not very loud but if its silent you can very well hear them.

Is this something i need to be concerned about..Is this bad for my laptop.. I never heard these noises from my previous laptop charger.. I plugged my other charger in the same socket and it makes no such sounds

What can be done?

I'd give Tech Support a call, if the problem persists I reckon they will get a new charger unit across to you.

Been trying to call the Tech Support but the waiting times are .. well er.. ridiculously long .. I was on call for 10 mins on 2 sep occasions but was not able to get through to any reps .. Will try calling when the waiting times are on a low
