Spec Advice

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on this spec I've created, I don't know a great deal about individual parts performance and how they work together so hoping someone can enlighten me on what needs improving and what is overkill.

I will be hard wired with an ethernet cable and the main monitor I will be using is

MSI Optix G27CQ4 Curved Gaming Monitor - 27 Inch, 16:9 WQHD (2560 x 1440), 1440p, 2K, VA, 165Hz, 1ms, 1500R, FreeSync Premium, DisplayPort, HDMI, Night Vision, Frameless, Anti-Flicker, Less Blue Light

Will be using the rig for gaming mostly, but also graphic design, video editing and software development.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Eight Core CPU (4.2GHz-5.0GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5) - Perfect for gaming; if work is as important, maybe a 7950X3D could be a better choice. It's your decision
