It's one of the 2nd generation models (uses Sandy Bridge) and comes out at a similar price.

Here you have additional features such as USB3, SATA 6 (with a compatible hard drive) a quad core processor with hyperthreading, a decent graphics card for media use and more than enough RAM.

Yes i will agree that TOM DWCs spec is far superior
but if you are using for photoshop or similarly demanding software that can take advantage of CUDA and you dont plan on gaming too much (on the latest titles) then i would stick with the GT430

Yup, I agree that Tom's spec is the better of the two. If you want to stick with the GT430, just drop the CPU to the 2500S - it should free up enough cash to keep it below £850 (including the GT430).
