SSD Data retention

Hi everyone,

I'm putting my PC into storage for about 3 months and need to know if an SSD require power to retain data whilst in storage.
If it does, could leaving it plugged it without powering it on solve that?
The SSD in question is an Intel 530 series 120GB (my boot drive)

As far as I know it doesn't.

Does a USB memory stick require a constant source of power? Nope and neither does an SSD
Data loss only really occurs if the device is left without power for years.
