Steam connection issues

Has anyone had the "steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers." issue?

tried the following to but with no luck

- deleting clientblob
- reinstalling
- firewall check
- proxy check
- hitting pc
- throwing a tantrum

I haven't. You could try a clean installation of windows and if that doesn't work just get a new computer.

Mine turned out to be peerblock. I think keynes suggestion will work though

I often get this issue.... I just log back in and it works?

Then obv if that doesn't work I reinstall windows / get a new pc

Steam's been a bit funny for me lately, sometimes when I log in it tells me I cannot connect to the steam server, but as soon as I log in again it works fine.

turns out something in the registry was broken, it's all working now <3

I had a huge problem downloading the witcher from steam. Would kill my internet every few minutes. Took like 2 weeks to download it lmao.

Dota 2 suffers drops while I'm updating it but nothing else has this problem. Just downloaded path of exile and never dropped once.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

No but I did try forcing an unexpected reboot.
