Stock Processors

I've ordered a brand new, all singing all dancing, shiny new laptop that will do everything except make me tea, and I'm waiting for the processor to arrive!! It's been over two weeks since I ordered it, although only now 11 working days... but they're still waiting for the Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3610QM (2.30GHz) 6MB to come into stock... If the next processor up wasn't over £100, i'd go for that one, as I have no decent laptop to use now after my Acer packed up one day after advertising it on ebay!!

is anyone else experiencing stock problems, is this a common thing at PCS??

I've been told that they were expecting it to arrive Wednesday, and yet it's still not here... Getting fed up now... although I know I'm being impatient!! I just want it NOW!! Especially after upgrading the firmware and finding out about AHCI in BIOS (which I need to create another thread to ask about now...)

The relevant bit posted by PCS yesterday was
I can confirm that some 3610QM arrived today. We received enough stock to cover half our orders and they will be allocated to customers in order of the oldest first. We have more stock on order and have had these orders placed since May 2012. We are trying our very best to secure more stock but the 3610QM processor is in great constraint with Intel.

Most, if not all orders who will receive allocation are orders that are already at the "In Building" status.
