Suggested Thunderbolt Dock for my new Vyper

Hi,
I would like to get some suggestions for a decent USB-C Thunderbolt Dock for my Vyper 15.6" (spec below).

I travel (well will eventually) a fair bit and need to have at least one, preferably two screens attached when in the Covid Home Office.

Some have suggested the Dell TB16 Thunderbolt but its a fair bit and not sure if it would be compatible.

Thoughts and comments appreciated.

I've got both a TB15 and TB16, both great, although you wont want to travel with them! they are huge.

For travel I tend to use a USB-C one with SDXC/SD/mSD/Type-C/USB3.1x3/HDMI and that tends to get me by, I take a HDMI cable with me that can go into the Hotel TV if it comes to me needing a second screen.

But for home the TB15/TB16 are both great, not tried it on my Vyper17 yet as not delivered just yet, but has worked with everything else TB3 I've tried it on. Word of warning though, can be tricky to update the firmware if you don't have access to a Dell Laptop... I know, sucks, but HP and Lenovo do the exact same with their TB3 docks.

Wish TB3 wasn't so expensive (thanks Intel) but hey, it's leagues better than USB3.x at the moment (USB4 is an Intel Sanctioned Open version of TB3)

You can usually get a TB16 on ebay for 40-80 quid depending on the charger that comes with it (and you need one!) just remember USB-C PD is only 60w via the TB dock unless you are using a Dell laptop where it will give you 115w

Yeah looked at that one too forntravel, but already had Tb16 kicking around, and didn't need dual external monitor on the road, hence went with the (much) cheaper route of usb-c, plus on the road I don't have as much parafinailia plugged into it so don't necessarily need the higher throughput.

Just remember you won't be able to leave your charger at home if your hoping for that, as nothing PCS sells will do a lot with USB-PD
