Suggestion: SMS Notifications for orders

Heya,

I was just wondering if you'd thought about sending SMS notifications for orders (mainly for dispatch) as well as email ones.

I ask this mainly cos I can't get to my yahoo mail account when I'm at work (no-one can get to webmail - some restrictions brought in by one of our clients) - my order is registered to that account, so I'll never get the notifications til I get home.

Obviously I have absolutely no idea what the overhead for this would be, and I don't know if many would find it useful.

We already send out SMS notifications for any type of dispatch: Orders, packages, RMA's etc. If we sent out an SMS each time we send you am email I think it would annoy most people, as you may receive 6- 8 text messages in a week.

no its good that members are activly trying to make the community better :) good suggestion but as PCS says its already in place :)
