That's the kind of thing I have and it works a treat except mine is dual monitor over the horizontal not the vertical.

Just have to be sure it's rated for the weight of the monitors.

Yeah i've not got space to go horizontal, left hand side of the M34WQ overhangs the side of the desk as it is, max load per mount is 10Kg, so fine there

Yeah, for your use, you definitely want a vertical setup anyway, would look far better.
