Syanptics Touchpad resets on restart

I'm having a problem with the touchpad on my laptop. I'm running Windows 10 and every time I restart the computer, the touchpad resets to its default settings (meaning it's EXTREMELY sensitive!). I've googled the problem and the general recommendation is to update the driver. However, its recommended the drivers be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. Trouble is, I can't find a driver download page on PC Specialist.

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem and, if so, whether they discovered a permanent solution.

There is a downloads section, but you need to log into your main account on the PCS site.

What's the model of the laptop? Check the underside for a model and make label.

PCS are just a chassis reseller, the actual manufacturers are clevo, tong-fang or others.
