My laptop specs:
Core i7 2630qm (2.00GHz)
GeForce 555M - 2GB
4GB SAMSUNG 1333MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY
500GB WD SCORPIO BLACK
I just got Adobe After Effects CS5.5. After using it for about 10 minutes I my system completely froze and I couldn't even move the mouse, so had to hold the power button to turn off. No errors after turned back on.
Using After Effects again today, after about 5 minutes of editing/experimenting my Nvidia GPU will crash.
Today I have discovered that I can finally update my drivers via the Nvidia website to the latest version. Updated, restarted. Used After Effects and it crashed again after lasting a bit longer.
I also have Photoshop CS5 and Dreamweaver CS5. Both work without any problems. In fact, all other programs and games work properly.
What's the problem?!
