Testing wait?

Hi all,

My Order has been in testing since Tuesday, was hoping I might have it for this weekend but no luck now, anyway I was wondering if people had experience with the how long the current testing wait is?

Testing is usually fairly quick 1 day but depends on below.

a lot depends on build configuration as this can affect testing.

Also depending what is in build, if it needs replace for failing.

There is no set time, it all depends if any issues are found in testing in which case it goes back into the build queue to be troubleshot and repaired and then sent through testing again.

As mentioned it really does depend on whether testing found any issues. My laptop testing identified a couple of issues and resulted in a new build and test again and that found the same issue which resulted in them having to go find new chipset drivers from TongFang, so after a few days wait, I changed my order and that was built, tested and dispatched in 2 days

If you log into your PCS account they usually leave a note if there's a problem or something - I'd consider giving them a call if there's no notes on your order and it just says in testing still.

How do I see my notes? I cant see any

if it hasnt moved from testing on Monday I will give them a call

If you can't see any there probably are not any, but if there are notes they're often at the very bottom of your list of components after clicking 'show'

My order was in testing for 8 days - testing backlog was the reason when I rang.

Backlog sounds right, all my previous PCS machines went from building to testing the same day, this time there was more than a days wait. Still getting it within a week of ordering though so happy plus glad I paid for the fast track.

Interesting, I didn't think fast track was being offered currently

I think it is on laptops, but not desktops.
