The 15.6" Optimus VII ( 4K 60hz surfing ) on 4K tv.

I have a 4K television with HDMI 2.2 imputs.

The laptop has an Nvidia GTX 960 graphics card with HDMI out. ( it doesnt state if the laptop is HDMI 2.0 or above wich i required )

When connected to the TV will i be able to (not gaming) surf the net / email etc at 4K 60hz ?

I think your TV has HDMI 2.0 rather than 2.2 - HDCP 2.2 seems to be relating to content protection: http://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/feat...-you-need-know-about-hdcp-22-hdmi-20-hevc-uhd

HDMI 1.4 wouldn't be enough for 4k 60hz - HDMI 2.0 would be. http://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/1312-cables-dvi-differences-hdmi-vs-displayport

I'm not sure if the Optimus VII has HDMI 2.0 or not. If it was a desktop GTX 960 it probably would be but the GTX 960M output may depend on the chassis.

If nobody here can give a definite answer, you could phone PC Specialist. If it turns out that it only has HDMI 1.4, a solution might be to use a Mini Display Port to HDMI 2.0 adapter cable. There are a number available from various retailers that seem designed for such situations.
