my strict budget was £1,200 so no more upgrades

just a few questions please:

1. Will PC Specialist install the operating system on the M.2 SSD Drive by default or do i have to ask ? ( i want it pre-installed)
2. Does the system have good airflow?
3. can i configure the backlit keyboard to illuminate certain keys, IE- ASDW ?

PS- I am fine with the Small SSD drive as i only have about 2 different games on the go at anytime.

I've had no issues with air flow on my DII which is effectively the same case design.

I do regularly clean the fans though and a repaste after about 16 months brought the temps down considerably and the fans don't run half as often or as loud - don't think the original paste job was that good to be honest.

Worth noting that under load, when the fans do kick in, they run loud and the air from the side vent is very hot. To me, that just shows the air flow works.

It says the operating system is supplied on DVD but the laptop doesn't have a DVD drive.
Does the Os actually come supplied on a USB stick or do PC Specialist assume you have an external DVD drive?

I'm not sure - it may be on DVD if that's how they're supplied to PCS. However, you can freely download and create your own ISOs and make bootable USBs to install Windows off direct from Microsoft anyway. https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

No doubt since relatively few laptops have dvd drives now.
