The impact of 2Gb of ram vs 4Gb on a gfx card

Hello everyone,

I am between selecting between a 2Gb gfx670 and a 4Gb gfx680
I am happy with the gfx 670 however if one of you can convince me that the difference in memory is worth going for not just the increase in obvious difference between the 2 cards, I will take it into series consideration

Thank you all for your time,

Well, if you are running three or more screens then the 4gb 680 would be the card of choice (in SLI)

But if you are just running one screen, a single 670 would be plenty (can always get a big enough PSU for another 670)

Hello and Thank you Tom,

I will not be using 3 screens with this setup, if that is the only case it is useful in then the 670 it is.

hey, n no worries mate :)

I should have added, a 670 will be enough for at least two screens. I'm running two 24inch IIyama's on a single 3gb 580, soa 2gb 670 will be fine for one or two screens.
