Thermal Paste/Backlight Bleed on IPS laptop screens.

Hi everyone. Made my first call to PC Specialist today and was very pleased and impressed with the person who I spoke with. This person was very helpful and answered all my questions.
Firstly I mentioned that a few people on the forums who had bought PC Specialist laptops had needed to do a repaste on the heatsink as their machines were running a bit hot. Was told by the person at PC Specialist that he too had read this on the forums also. However I was assured that during the building/ quality control process all laptops are put through a rigorous quality control test and if the laptop is running too hot then it won't pass quality control. With regards to the pasting process, I was told that it was always done properly and that enough thermal Paste was applied. Was told that their should be no need to do a repaste yourself and if you think that this might be causing your laptop to run hot, then to get in touch with them first.
Secondly I did ask about IPS laptop panels and light bleed. Was told that all IPS panels will have some degree of light bleed. However some are much worse than others. If you do receive a laptop with too much light bleed then all you have to do is send PC Specialist a picture and if they also think it's bad, then the panel can simply be changed. I was also told that the IPS panels used in the laptops are made by either LG or AUO and are of high quality.
I'm waiting for Intel to release their Kaby Lake Processors and then I will decide whether to go for a Surface Pro 5 or a Defiance III laptop with a Kaby Lake Processor. Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
Finally I did recommend PC Specialist to a family member recently who ordered from them and was very pleased with his new laptop.
