As Martin has mentioned the full spec would be very useful! That said, is there anything your son feels they're particularly lacking in their gaming experience? From what I can see it's a pretty well specced system and there's nothing standing out to me that needs an upgrade with this PC. The GPU is a couple of generations old but should give a perfectly acceptable experience for 1080p gaming on respectable settings and there's nothing else massively holding the build back. Would be good to have a bit more info on what you're looking to improve!

If you were to go for a GPU upgrade, I would suggest upgrading the PSU to a 750W RMx, as the existing PSU won't be able to handle much more than the existing GPU
