Thinking of upgrading graphics

Ok I'm thinking about putting a graphics card in the system below rather than just having the integrated graphics on the I7, this PC is used for video editing normally only 1080p using Pinnacle studio 24 Ultimate, and it's hooked up to this monitor https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00U3EL610/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Of the cards listed in the configurator & a max budget of £150 what would you folk recommend?

Hi there, the 1650 Super would be the most appropriate GPU for your system and monitor. I think that will come in at £146.

For video editing, an RTX card would be recommended as a minimum, RTX2060 or up. Makes a huge difference.

Video editing isn't like gaming, you don't need to pair the GPU to the monitor, the higher power the GPU, the more raw editing power so you get the best you can afford.

That’s my bad, I think I had my gamer head on when I was answering that question 😶

So... the OP had £150 to spend on the card, what kind of performance will he get if he runs with the 1650 Super?

Not much tbh, but I’m not 100% sure, would need to check out benchmarks.

Second hand RTX2060’s will be cheap as chips though.

I think so, that was bad advice on my part. Sincere apologies to you... and the 2070 Super offer stands if you’re happy to hold on for a few weeks.
