Better case - Maelstrom T900, or at least CM Elite 310
16GB of RAM is probably overkill, 8GB would be enough for most uses, and if you're not planning on overclocking (as you've just got the Intel cooler) you could drop down to the 1333MHz
Swap the hard drives round so the SSD is the 1st HD for your OS
Could drop the sound card - on-board sound is fine for gaming and most non-audiophile purposes

Whats your intended uses? That will help us alot, from a quick look at the general spec i would a make a few changes whatever your using it for.

Spend a bit more on a better case.
If you want windows on the SSD make sure its your first selected hard drive
Get a better hard drive like the caviar black, just makes the pc faster at loading the os and apps.

A better idea of what your doing will help you get better feedback.

Sorry your right, i only play WOW and FM 12, i take on-board the a better case and will change hard drives the right way round and upgrade the main hard drive but i need the sound card i love my music . My main uses are those two games, films, sky player and the likes and just general surfing, i will down grade the ram to 8 even i thought it was ott , i intend to keep this pc for a few years hence the spec and the room for upgrading, do you think i should go up a bit on the psu ? many thanks to you both for taking the time to read my posts and helping out a old git like me :D cheers

nice spec,

have you considered going for amd setup? Could get a very good setup for that budget.

Also i believe pcs are running out of bf3 codes, so if your are going for the 2500k because of that reason only, you may not receive a code.

I will post up a spec for ya

or this, same spec as about but with 2500k and better cpu cooler. 1073 quid.

I'd defo go for the 6950 tho, will give ya better gaming performance, and keep this case, for better cooling. your components will live longer.

Thank you very much mate, but ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO as good as a stand alone sound card? again thank you , never thought of AMD its what im running now ( AMD64) and has been a good servant but its a bit knackered now a bit like myself

Any of the specs on this page will be able to chew through WOW very easily. If it were my build i would look to get an intel processor in their, that way you can add more ram and a better GPU down the line if needed and still have a monster PC, an i5 2500 is a good bit ahead of the phenom.

The 6950 is more powerful and if you can afford it i would go for it, but the 560ti wont disappoint. With a 750w psu might find it a bit tight to run 2 x 6950's, 2 x 560ti's would be ok.
