Thoughts & Suggestions on First Time Buy

I’m a first time buyer for a gaming PC and like many I would like to hear the thoughts and opinions on this build. This would mainly be a build for playing the Total War series which I believe requires a higher CPU? Ideally I’d like to keep the budget around £1500 if possible. Also any recommendations on a monitor? If anyone has any advice be much appreciated thanks.

An m2 SSD would be better for the main drive, if you go with a 1 TB SATA HDD for storage and a 500 GB Samsung m2 it is still under 1500.

Apologies I missed that it was supposed to be a m.2 1TB SDD for main drive thanks for catching that. I also already have a crucial 256gb SSD that I was going to use along with the m.2 1TB SDD instead of a HDD would that be wise?

It’s the Fractal Design Focus G.

I think I’d be happy to go between the £200-£300 mark for a monitor.

You're also skimping on the memory there, when I looked at the AMDs I think I remember seeing that the motherboards for their chips can support 16GB of RAM at 3,600Mhz? Most games would be run largely in RAM with 16GB of memory, you should see a decent boost and a bit of future proofing.
