THX activation question

Hi,

When I click on the icon to activate THX, is that a single use activation key or can I use it again?

The reason I ask is that I have Windows 7 but will be wiping the laptop to put Windows 8 on. Also, I'll possibly be wiping it again to go back to Windows 7 if I don't really like Win8.
I'd hate to activate it once and then not be able to use it a few days later when I change OS.

The key is always there whenever Ive downloaded it from the Clevo site or taken from the Disc PCS provided.

I have actually reinstalled windows a couple of times on my laptop and this has always activated without issue.
Just like rickne says.
