Time to renew antivirus software

It's the time when I have to renew my antivrus protection software again.

At the moment, I'm using BullGuard, but I'm wondering if Malwarebytes would be a better choice. The software seems to find more bad stuff then BullGuard.

What do you think?

Anyone have any problems with games when running Malwarebytes?

Malwarebytes premium has an excellent reputation and it's not overly expensive. As long as you don't mind paying for anti-virus protection Malwarebytes is a good choice.

Malwarebytes is actually less than what I pay for now, and I have 25% off the renewal cost !

Malwarebytes is excellent, I would definitely plump for it, but really have no need for it anymore as I'm fine with windows defender for my usage.

I was using kaspersky but it caused problems for Virtual NIC's in VM's so had to get rid of it and realised I really don't need full blown AV anymore as my torrent days died a long time ago.

+1 for windows defender. It is also incredibly light (compared to AVG/AVAST) and unobtrusive.

If you're set on paying I'd say Malwarebytes or F-Secure

I like Trend myself, it's reasonably priced and so far has picked up all the nasties that try to install themselves on my pc. I use malware bytes for everything else and it seems like a good pairing.

I have McAfee which came with my desktop when I bought it. But I'm also using Smadav.

Having more than one can cause issues, and McAfee is very bloated, I would recommend cutting down.

On topic, I go for Microsoft Security Essentials (Windows 7, It is Defender in 8+) Small, Light, simple. Virus's are easily avoided by common sense so a bloaty heavy AV is not required if you have common sense which is free.
