Over a year ago now I got my new PC with this motherboard. I was having a few problems with a game at first so with the support of some very helpful people here I reduced the overclock on the RAM. I haven't done anything since and checking my latest version, I still run :

I've been very happy with my PC for the past year. It is great. Only today did I have my first issue which was a message that AMD had detected a driver timeout. I looked on the AMD Software adrenaline edition and I had a new driver to download. This made me think about what I did a year ago and think that maybe I needed to update the BIOS version. Is this something I should do? How and should I reapply the Expo that I turned off?

If everything's working, then there's no need to adjust anything - and updating the BIOS does come with risks.

If you want to try and get your RAM to its correct speed, then just turn the RAM settings back (via the AI Overclock Tuner) from the 'Manual' and the lower speed you've set to Auto or EXPO1/EXPO2.
