the Quad Core CPU and RAM is good for Football Manager, its quite resource-hungry from what i have heard. Diablo 3 will run fine on both of those laptops. Quad Core laptops are great at multitasking, so you can have many programs open at once. i assume that Large Data Analysis is heavy number-crunching, so the better CPU would be good.

i would go for the second option (Optimus III) as the faster CPU and the SSD will make business programs run a lot faster, and the weaker GPU shouldn't affect the performance of Football Manager or Diablo 3, which will still run at 50 FPS on Ultra.

for heavy gaming (Skyrim, Metro 2033, Crysis etc), the Vortex is better, but as a business laptop i would suggest the Optimus.

Thank you Adli, that is really helpful and is it better to use 4*4GB ram or 2*8GB ram. It seems that 4*4gb ram are much cheaper than 2*8 Ram

4x4GB is cheaper, but harder to upgrade.
2x8GB is expensive. but easier to upgrade.

example: in the future, you really need 32GB of RAM... don't ask me why, but you just do. maybe some really demanding new program has come along that makes Large Data Analysis a lot easier. this is unlikely as not many people have 32GB of RAM, so making a program require it is silly.

with 4x4GB, you would have to replace ALL the RAM sticks with 8GB sticks. you would have to buy four sticks of 8GB RAM.
with 2x8GB, you could just buy 2 sticks of 8GB, put them in the 2 spare slots and save a lot of money.

having 2 empty RAM slots makes it easier to upgrade the RAM, but if you don't forsee yourself needing a RAM upgrade it is an un-necessary additional cost.
i would stick with 4x4GB, since it should be enough for what you need :)
