I have a Lenovo Laptop running windows 10, and I wanted to record a stream of music from the internet. However when I opened up a sound recorder program, it will only record from microphone.
Having read several items on this, it seems it's not the software from the program, but the ability of the laptop to set an option to record from this source, that is the problem.
So I looked at some of the advice around, and it appears that I should be able to set this option from control panel, looking for a disabled feature of 'what U hear'. But I don't get this option at all. I am very surprised at this. It's a modern laptop with a good spec, and I don't see why I don't have this, or any apparent option to record streams off of the internet.
I would have expected, going back in time a bit, to be able to recall functions missing from windows, via the setup, or in the registry, but I have looked in the PC, and I can't find anything.
