upgrade Intel SSD 80GB to 160GB

I am thinking to upgrade my 80GB SSD to a 160GB SSD. Also installed is a 1TB drive.
How would I set up the new 160GB drive? Is it possible to 'copy' old drive data to new drive or would it mean reinstalling all progs that are on the 80GB drive?

there was a thread about this just the other day, my preference would be just to install the OS and apps again - but then i don't have that much stuff installed, plus i like to start from scratch and get shot of any junk i'd installed and forgotten about. You can "image" your disk though, which would be quicker - chances are you don't have much installed on the SSD so this might be a good option.
