so this is what i have currently;
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 Core
TUS X570 PLus Gaming
16GB Cosair Vengence DDR4 3200
8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070
2x m.2 drive
1tb SSD
Coraisr 750W TXM Series

i am looking to upgrade, Mainly play Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen,. Sea of Thieves and COD.

any suggestions would be be great i have approx £1000.00 to upgrade.

I'd suggest upgrade path of greatest return would be the GPU, but that will depend on your monitor/requirements. So what monitor (model, resolution, Hz) do you have - or are you planning on upgrading that too?

The only issue I can see with splurging on the latest & greatest GPU will be the PSU, as we're recommending 1000W PSUs for some of the RTX40x0 GPUs due to their power draw and transient spikes (double the draw for milliseconds).

An Nvidia RTX4070Ti (12GB) is £800 (via the PCS upgrade service), or an AMD 7900XT (20GB) is £860 - these trade blows with each other at 1440p/4k, so decision may simply come down to what performance better in your games....and whether you'd prefer the 20GB VRAM in the AMD for Howart's Legacy. What you can fit will also depend on your case, as some of these newer GPUs are 'chunky' to say the least.

The other alternative, if you're running 1080p/1440p would be an RTX3070/3060Ti and use the savings to buy a 5800x3D CPU.
