Upgrading my rig

Hi, PCspecs. I have baught a new rig a while ago from you and I was wondering. Is it possible to purchaise components like gpu, psu, ram from you ? Thanks in advance !

I believe it is possible once you've already bought a system from them (which you have).

The thing is that there is no option on the website for ordering components. Or do I have to call specs for that ?

You'll probably have to ring them to do it (presuming it is doable - they may just add it as an amendment to your previous order - though that is speculation on my part).

Yes I can confirm that you can buy upgrades from us. The best bet is to call (0844 499 4000) or email ([email protected]) with the components you wish to purchase and the Sales Team will get back to you with a price for each component.

This is one of the best pieces of information I found so far. You should really feature this information in a feature box on your main page, and have a page with more information about this process. Our previous machine was bought from Kobalt Computers with a promise that we would be able to upgrade the GPU later. When returning 6 months later to order one, they suddenly claimed they were unable to supply a GPU - which is why I have not returned to them. (It was a laptop, and the GPU is incredibly hard to get, would not have bought the laptop if they had not promised that upgrade would be possible)

Long story short- it's a really good selling point that certainly will look favourable upon PC Specialist to many potential buyers.

Thanks for the feedback. It is something we are looking in to and will consider offering in the future, but this option will only be open to existing customers as opposed to new customers - we're not looking to become an etailer.

That's what I meant - make it clear that this is something you offer to *existing* customers. It's a very big positive!
