Hi there
I bought a desktop from PCS around 2 years ago, and have decided it's now time for some upgrades.
I upgraded from a radeon HD 6850 to an evgo gtx 660 2gb (which came in the post today) and the graphics card is working wonderfully
However, I also order a kingston 240gb ssd which is due to come tomorrow
My question is, on my desktop right now i only have the one HDD (WD black 1TB) which my OS is installed on.
If i want to erase this hard drive and start over again (as if i just put a new HDD in the pc) what would i have to do - I understand all my files will be lost but that's fine
I'm just confused because the website I was reading said I had to partition a hard drive before it can be used etc. (but mine should already be, right?)
I also want to install my OS on my SSD, so any help would be really appreciated! a link to a good step by step guide would be nice
I was reading online that erasing windows from a C drive is difficult, and you need to use USB drives etc. with the OS installed on them but there has to be an easier way!
thanks!
