Usb drivers are usually in the chipset drivers, you could try reinstalling those.

also check the device manager for any yellow triangles under the USB tab. I had an issue before where uninstalling the usb drivers via the device manager then restarting the machine allowed windows to re install the drivers automatically.

USB 2.0 drivers is on the chipset. Depending on chipset, the USB 3.0 controller might be a separate onboard controller, but in this case, I just checked your motherboard specs. It's also in the chipset for this system. However, it doesn't seem to state if there is USB 3.0 Support for Windows 8/8.1.

Hi Pilgrim,

Presuming you are talking about the onboard USB 3.0 ports - this is likely to be a driver issue. You can download your drivers by logging into your account on our website.
If you mean your front USB ports. The motherboard you have chosen doesn't support front USB 3.0 - if you require more technical assistance, I would recommend calling us on 0333 011 7000.

Thanks,
Benno
