USB 3.0 ports

Hi,

I have the Optimus IV which states that it has 3xUSB3 + 1xUSB2 ports.

I have a USB3 hard drive, but when I plug it in, only one port doesnt say "This device can perform faster if plugged into a USB3.0 port".

So here's my question. Is the information on the PCS site wrong, or are 2 of my ports wired up incorrectly?

ye well it works on one of the usb ports and gets identified as usb 3.0 so everything is as it should be, in terms of the HDD.

I got a similar problem

I have 2 ports claiming to be USB 2.0 (The left solo one, and the 'E-SATA Combo'). It clearly states on the product images that the 'E-Sata' port is a USB 3.0 hybrid - the speed is definitely USB 2.0 . Can anyone shed some light on this?

Side note - Using a WD Elements Portable 1tb USB 3.0
