Video Editing / Gaming PC Configuration Help

Hiya!

So I've put together the following PC configuration and wanted to check if this is the best configuration for my needs.
  • So to start with, this pc would be going in the room furthest from router (2 bedroom apartment), so a solid wi-fi connection would be needed, especially when uploading videos.
  • It would also be placed (unfortunately) near to the radiator, so in winter a solid cooling system would be preferential. I don't have a lot of space in this room to move things around but can aim to keep it as far away as possible/place a heat reflector in-betwee.
  • In terms of video editing, I would initially be using da vinci with an aim to switch over to premiere pro in the future so pretty confident in the CPU and GPU choices. I would be editing UHD with a future aim to edit 4K videos and I would look to upgrade the RAM in the future. So first monitor would be in the £250 range and later down the line I will purchase a 4K monitor.
  • I will also be recording voice overs and editing audio so wanted to check suitability of the sound card.
  • First storage drive would be for OS and Software, second for files and storage.
  • Finally, I am unsure whether the PSU is suitable or whether it can be lower or should be higher for this set-up.
Budget for the PC is around £2k +/-£100. Happy to make savings on the SSD and HDD to fit in budget as well.

Any help would be great thanks!

Godlike
If you’re able to hold off purchasing I would strongly recommend it. We’re expecting new AMD CPUs to drop next month, and new GPU releases from both AMD and Nvidia later this year.
If this isn’t a PC you NEED e.g you use it for work and your current has just died I would strongly recommend holding off as you will get a big performance boost by waiting a little bit longer.
