Vortex 3 First Charge

Hi,

I've just received my Vortex 3 and the only question I have is how long do I charge it for on its first charge? It's been on for ~6 hours now.

Just until it's full, unless there are specific instructions otherwise.

It used to be that you had to charge for longer than normal on a first charge. I'm talking 5 or more years ago, when Li-ion was quite a recent technology.

Either they make them differently now, or they precondition them during production.

Is it ok if it's plugged into the mains all the time? Or will this affect the battery life...?

If your going to use it plugged into the mains for a long time,like in weeks,best take battery out as it could shorten the life of the battery.
