Vortex II 2nd HDD

I've picked up an SSD for my new laptop, and installed it, but I could not find a place for the extra drive, which I planned to use for storage. Where is the 2nd HDD bay on this laptop?

Do you have the 15.6" or the 17.3" vortex II,
as the 15.6" doesn't have two hard drive bays,
you need to use the optical drive bay.

Ahhh, that explains it. If I remove the optical drive, how do I plug the giant hole where it used to be? And I assume I buy a caddy from somewhere?

i belive it is a caddy to cover the optical bay but might i suggest just getting a simple usb caddy they are about £6 and simple to add your hdd too without needing a external power supply il admit its not fitted into the chassie itself but its just as portable.

Anyone know anywhere I can buy an appropriate caddy? Would rather have an extra hard drive than a optical drive, I can count the number of times I have used an optical drive in the last couple years on one hand.
