Vortex II 5.1 Surround

Okay so I need some help here.

I've bought a new headset (Roccat Kave).

It require's 4 Audio Ports, (Mic, Front, Sub, Rear,)

It hasn't arrived yet so I can't fully test myself. However the way the laptop seems to be set up i can't use it?

Front Speaker = Green = Headphone Port
Rear Speaker = Black - Line-in Port
Sub + Centre = Pink(orange) = Mic-in Port <---
Microphone = Pink = Mic-in port <---


So both the microphone and the Sub goes into the same port? Anyway around this? Such as possibly using the spare port for the sub/centre? I have no idea?

Don't think you'll be able to do this with the laptop as it is. Look into something like the Soundblaster X-Fi thing. The Pro version has 3mm:

Mic In/Line In
Headphone/Front Left & Right Speaker Output
Center/Sub Output
Rear Left & Right Speaker Output

which should fulfil your needs. It's an external USB box though.

Yeah i assumed this'd be the only thing. Luckily i do actually have a usb microphone port thingy so that should do the job will test once it arrives
