Vortex II fan noise

Bought it two years ago and it's been fine but recently it's been getting louder/noisier.

I presume it's the usual dust bunnies so is there a better way to service it rather than using compressed air and crossed fingers?

I dont know if its easy to get to your fan but its best to just open the laptop and pick out the dust manually or with a tisue or something.

With the Vortex range id advise removing one of the GPU heat syncs as dust seems to form a film between the two. When i removed the film of dust in mine i got reduced temprature and noise, i couldn't believe the dust between them, i blasted it with an industrial compressor and it still didn't budge.
