Sorry I can't help with your problem. Have you been through all the THX settings?
Did you read this Audio Guide? I know it's for the Vortex II, but it might help a bit. Failing that, give PCS a ring, they will help you I'm sure.
It's rather weird that you get excessive bass really because I usually hear people complain about the lack of it xD - lucky you I spose. Umm, as for fixing the issue there are a few tweaks in thx control panel, just toy with the bars and see how it works out
There's also the crossover frequency - you could try toying with it to cancel out some of the bass.

Yeah the Crossover Frequency in settings has done the trick. Do you know how it works tho? Like what it actually means?
Also is there a guide to what the other functions do? [READ THE MANUAL
Hey Nipple, what cross over setting did you use and I did find them once but I cant seem to find where the frequency setting is hiding - Ive gone thru all settings but seem to have lost it !
