Vortex III Clevo 0170em not powering on

Morning all, don't suppose anyone has a fault finding flow for the above? I can't power on and even with power brick attached, get no lights, no fan noise, no screen activity, zip. Have opened the various hatches and without doing anything invasive, hdd, ram etc all seem secure, no dead rats in the battery bay etc. Got a nasty feeling it could be mobo. Even swapped fuse out in battery brick.

You could try (if you haven't already) powering up with the battery disconnected but the power brick plugged in.

I'd contact PCS via telephone in the first instance however as you say, could be a fairly serious failure. You can email them for support but telephoning is the quickest way to get a response.

Got through and spoke to Richard. Not looking promising but board is replaceable (Albeit at a cost) so have to ponder risking further failure and £ down drain versus new machine. Got to say, Richard was excellent though. Any managers browsing the forum, give that guy a pay on the back.
