Vortex III Questions

Hi All

I will be buying a laptop soon. I will be using it for non-demanding work stuff and also some light to moderate gaming and I dont really mind running forthcoming demanding games on medium settings.

I am close to making a decision on buying a Vortex III (i7, 8gig ram, ssd) and have a couple of questions.

I am leaning towards a cheaper III LE as we have modern electric lighting at home and I dont need to use the computer in the dark, though I know the backlit keyboard looks very nice...

Also from what I can gather there isnt a great deal of difference between the GTX 670 MX and the GTX 675 MX and I understand from what I have read that the former runs a little bit cooler.

Finally, as i will be transporting this laptop to and from work on a daily basis I was wondering about the robustness of either laptop over time.

Be grateful for any comments or advice you guys may have.

I wouldnt say any clevo is robust compared to say an Alienware laptops which would take a breeze block to the head and survive. The clevos are pretty flimsy units. Very plastic.

Thanks for your reply. Well it has to go from my house to my car (30 yards) and from my car to the office (30 yards) and back every day. Would you be concerned if you had to do that with yours?

Ill be honest I do. It goes in my Wenger bag from the flat to the car to my office and despite a few surface dents I do look after it. It wont take a massive beating but if you are sensible and treat it with respect youd be fine.
