Vortex IV - Headphone Jack FAILS after Sleep

This has been annoying me for months. I even sent the laptop back to PC specialist for around 3 weeks for a repair.

Anyone experienced this problem before? Anytime I wake my laptop up from sleep mode... the headphones don't work.

I have to restart the pc in order for it to work.

Appreciate any response.

I've had some problems with my earphones on my new vortex laptop too. Have you installed the drivers from the pcs website?
I ended up having to send mine back on an RMA and they replaced the jack and cable, I just got it back yesterday and so far no problems with that, so will see how it goes. Although now I seem to have a couple of problems with the laptop that I didn't have before, so I will have to call them on Monday. What happened when you sent yours back?

Go on the Clevo website (http://www.clevo.com.tw/clevo_down.asp?lang=en) and find your model in the list. The model name will be on the underside of your laptop.

Download the Hotkey driver (sometimes called Hotkey AP), uninstall your current audio drivers, restart, install the Hotkey drivers, restart and then install your audio drivers.
