So I bought a high end gtx 980m Vortex IV laptop around last Oct/Nov with this screen "17.3" Matte Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)". I've never liked it at all to the extent that I don't like playing games on it because of how ugly the screen is. It is extremely matt and looks basically like it's smeared in a thin layer of excrement. I think this forum background is white? But it looks brown and grainy and not very nice.
So. My question is what are my upgrade options! In the upgrade your pc section of the main site it used to list a couple of screens which were listed as out of stock but have now disappeared altogether. Is there a certain type of screen that will be compatible with this? Do you know what this chassis is called as it may help me find something compatible. Clevo something? Finally, any recommendations? Glossy may be preferable, similar to a mac kind of display. I don't mind matt but not as matt as this one. Thanks, and beware if you think about getting this screen!
