Vortex IV Terrible Battery - 80k to 14k mWh

Hi,

Anyone else have an issue with a terrible laptop battery lasting only 20 minutes? Ive only had mine a year but the cycle has gone from the full capacity 89,000 to 13,000...

A full charge lasts like 15 minutes Anyone know the price of clevo batts? best place to purchase?

Have you been using it while it's plugged in with the battery installed?

I used to do that on my other laptop (ok, I still normally do), and the battery went down, but no where near as bad as that :/ If you go to the spare parts page on the website you can buy a new one. Its £50.

The problem is this laptop has a bad charger connector.
When you have the Laptop on your lap the cable will fall out like every 10 minutes (well with almost every move you/the person next to you makes)

So yeah working on the vortex iv without battery is not the easiest task.


I'm having the same problem BTW but it took me 2 years. The battery is quickly dieing every day the max percentage it will charge to drops with 1 or 2. So in a few weeks the battery will be fully dead
