Is windows 7 going to work with the vortex IV, another retailer have said windows 8 is only compatible.

I have the vortex IV with windows 7 and it works fine. Which other retailer? If you have queries regarding the vortex IV you could try opening one single thread to make it easier to follow.

I'm sorry I don't want to hijack the topic, but can I ask why you would install Win7 instead of 8? Just personal preference? I'm trying to make up my mind myself ;)

Oh alright, thanks :) I thought maybe it had to do with differences in running performances, not just the UI ;) Sorry for the question, and thanks again for your answer :)
