Vortex IX booting issue

Hello.
My laptop fails to boot at the first attempt. The screen goes black with blinking short white lines and the fans are not spinning. I usually long press the power button to shut it down and start again, which helps, and it boots normally like nothing happened. Can someone point me the right direction please?

Given those symptoms my first suspect would be the SSD.

Does it always fail on the first attempt and succeed on the second?

Google 'Samsung Magician' and install that. Use it to check your SSD.

98% of the times it fails the first attempt. and succeed on the second. A full diagnostic scan and a Smart-test have been performed, no issues found.

I would give PCS a call then and talk this through with them.

I've disabled fastboot in power options and it works now for some reason. Could be the recent w10 update the reason?
Darn, I should have suggested that! That is highly likely to be the problem, fast boot is known to cause issues with some motherboards.
