Vortex Series Laptop 2015 - Display Issue

I have a Vortex Series laptop built in 2015 that still does the one thing I want it to do - play ESO.

However, the screen has now developed a problem. There is a yellow outline to white shapes and complete yellow shading to white backgrounds. This is affecting everything: videos, web pages, wallpapers, games.

Could it be a loose connection?

It is not the night light option, I have no colour profile and I cannot change any settings via Nvidia Control Panel. I have attached some pictures.

Attachment 2 - Game screenshot
Attachment 3 - Laptop desktop

If anyone has encountered this problem I'd love to hear from you!

When you say you can't change anything via nvidia control panel, can you take a screenshot of what you mean?

Those images all look kind of normal to me, not sure if I'm missing something.

If there is a problem with the screen / display settings then we'd need to see both the screenshots that you've posted above, and a photograph of the screen showing the same image, taken with a camera.

You could also try plugging the laptop into an external monitor or HDMI TV, mirror the screen, and see whether it also looks off-colour.
(Bear in mind a TV will not necessarily look like you're used to seeing a PC look on a laptop screen of course.)

Hi - yeah I just realised something. When viewing the attachments on a machine other than my own, they would of course not show the yellow tint! Silly me..... However, I took my laptop home yesterday night and when I booted it up the screen had returned to normal. One possibility that sprung to mind is that I had the laptop plugged into a 3 way connector with other electrical devices plugged in an extension cord. There may have been insufficient power? But all looks fine now with the laptop. Thank you.

Hello, I should have elaborated but the issue seems to have gone away. Only thing I can think of is that I had the power supply plugged into a 3-way plug in an extension cord. The power may have been compromised - perhaps this caused the problem? All seems OK now. Thanks!

Another possibility could be that there is a problem with the display cable / connection and opening and closing the laptop or moving it around made the problem disappear.. but the sympton could come back when the laptop is moved again.
