Want to get into world of warcraft, which one to buy?

I want to start playing world of warcraft but don't know what version to buy and what is the latest one? Anyone can help advise, much will be appreciated

That's the order from vanilla (original) to the last expension, there really isn't any point in getting an expansion till you hit each level cap.

Get yourself a Battle.net account and register a WoW account. You get up to level 20 for free now. Youll know where you are headed by then.

If you join Bronzebeard it is a PvE server so no world PvP and I am on there so give you some startup gold if you like and when online can provide help and guidence.

So battle chest is the first one?

thatll include the first expansion which takes you up to level 70.

the battlechest includes wrath (2nd expansion, level 80 cap) as well if you buy it from the blizzard store
